TELUS Digital Drives Virtual Event Engagement With Unique Gifts for Attendees

The Challenge

TELUS Digital wanted to create a memorable experience for attendees of their annual Digital Partner Summit because the event, which was typically held in person, was being held virtually. The TELUS Digital team wanted to reconnect with the many vendors and partners who would be attending the event, particularly since they hadn’t worked with many of them due to the pandemic. They wanted to send a gift to each of the 109 event registrants, as well the 10 event speakers. The team was hoping for unique gifts that centered around the theme of growth and reconnection, and loved the idea of including tastefully branded items. 

The Gift

After reviewing the three gift options that our gifting experts curated for them, the TELUS Digital team opted for a gift that included a custom-branded stoneware coaster featuring a sprouting plant, assorted gummy bears in an acrylic cube featuring the company logo, 2 cartons of cucumber Flow water, and a pistachio snack bar. The gift also included a card printed on seed paper to further anchor the growth theme.

The Impact

Through this gifting project, TELUS Digital supported 2 women-owned businesses, 3 Canadian small businesses, and gave back to the TELUS Friendly Future Foundation, which connects youth to a world of opportunities by supporting grassroots charities across Canada.  

The Outcome

Attendees of the TELUS Digital Partner Summit were surprised and delighted to receive the highly custom gifts that represented their growing relationship with the company. Reilly Law, who organized the gifting project was thrilled to make such a strong impact on TELUS Digital partners while respecting the company’s brand guidelines.
